10 Steps to get your SABIO started

Now get your SABIO started with the following steps.
For most of these steps, you find guides and a few tutorials.
Any moment you feel insecure consult the detailed info in the SABIO Helpcenter.

Grab some colleagues, sit down and think!
What is the business-relevant knowledge you want to have in SABIO?
What sort of knowledge is not to be found in SABIO?

Structure your knowledge.
Collect all topics - no matter how detailed they are - from your colleagues.
Make a big mind map!

Think of roles and permissions!
Who shall edit and who shall see which content in SABIO.
Configure user groups and views.

Add your first users - the editors - and train them.

Fill your knowledge map into your SABIO and build your “knowledge tree”.

Before your editors start working on texts, develop a styleguide and some templates.

Start writing!
Have a plan and milestones for the completion of your content.

Train your administrators.
They should know as much about your SABIO as possible.
Also, have a look at the reports.

Go through the system settings.
Is everything set the way you want it to be set?

Train your agents.
Give them a short tutorial.
Don’t forget to mention the importance of suggestions and rating.
