Gap between Tables
Remove Gap between Two Tables
Once you insert one table below another you will see a big gap between the two tables.
This is caused by the fact that instead of a simple break the CK Editor inserts a paragraph.
It´s possible to remove the paragraph, but then the tables will be really close to each other.
There is a workaround available to get a decent space between two tables:
- Place the cursor between the tables
- In the footer of the CKEditor, you´ll see the tag „p“ (paragraph)
- Click on the „p“ and press the DEL button
- Insert another row at the bottom of the first table
- Set the background color of the cells to white (cell properties > background)
Now the last row will be invisible and the space between the tables looks appropriate.
Of course, it looks much better if you set the table border to „0“ (table properties > border size), otherwise the last row won´t be kind of invisible.
