Autocomplete for the Search query
The function for autocomplete helps the user to search for a certain search term and shows suitable suggestions when the user enters a search term into the search field in addition to the already entered string. Instead of completing the search term manually the user can select the desired search term from the list of suggestions and directly gets results for this search term. Autocomplete considers terms in the title, the content, in the tags and categories of content items in the Serviceware Knowledge system. By default the autocomplete function is started when entering the second character into the search field. When typing further characters into the search field, the list of suggestions is updated.
Autocomplete can also deals with several search terms: When a first term has been entered or selected from the list of suggestions the user can start another term after entering a blank space and profits from the autocomplete function.
Autocomplete then only considers terms, which exist in combination with the first search term in the Serviceware Knowledge content. The function autocomplete is enabled by default and can be disabled via the settings.
