How can a User Open a Dialog?
There are two different ways for a user to open and start a dialog.
Open Dialog in Search Tab
In the search tab, a user can search for keywords that describe his / her current customer inquiry. When selecting the sub-source “dialogs” from the source “Dialog Objects”, the content list only contains dialogs. This search should usually directly retrieve the desired dialog.
Open Dialog in Dialog Tab
If a user knows which dialog fits his / her user inquiry, the user can use the dialog tab to open the dialog as an alternative to searching for it in the search tab. By clicking on the dropdown menu on the left side of the page of the dialog tab, a list of all the dialogs is displayed to the user. The list only contains dialogs which the user may see and execute according to his / her views. If against expectations the user cannot find the desired dialog in this list, he / she has the possibility to initiate a search for the fitting dialog via the search field beneath the drop-down menu.
When entering a term into the search field in the dialog tab, the user is redirected to the search result list in the search tab. In the search result list all the SABIO content that match the search term is displayed to the user. Using the source “Dialog Objects” the search results can be reduced to dialogs. This way, the desired dialog can be found quickly.
The search for a dialog works the same way in the search tab and the dialog tab. All search properties that are available in the SABIO system are also applied to dialogs by default.
