Release 5.57 Serviceware Knowledge
Drag & drop in editor with upload in new file management
When dragging files into the editor, the files are now stored in the new file management in most cases. The filemanagement dialog opens accordingly. However, the behavior is limited in rare cases by the browsers, especially with Mozilla Firefox. Generally, we recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Drag & Drop enhanced in new file management
In the new file management, files can now also be added by dragging them into the window before clicking on "add files". It is also possible to drag files directly into the desired folder. This folder is then preselected for further editing of the file.
Upload folders with files behind them in new file management
In the new file management, folder structures with underlying files can now be conveniently stored using drag & drop. Please note the upload limit of 500MB.
Error message when reaching the upload limit of files
Due to the virus scanner used, there is a limit of the file size to 500MB when uploading in the new file management. If this limit is reached, an error message is now displayed.
Hiding the file extension when uploading files
When uploading a new file, the file extension (e.g. .pdf, .png) was previously displayed. Changing the file extension has no effect and the file format is also visible to the user regardless. Therefore, we have disabled the display of the file extension.
Preview of Microsoft Office documents
Problems with displaying the preview of Microsoft Office documents in the system have been fixed.
Printing texts with fold-out areas
Texts with several fold-out areas were not formatted correctly in the print preview. This has been fixed.
Parallel use of standard and text block templates
Standard templates and text block templates can now be activated and used simultaneously.
Changing the proposal status without detour possible
The buttons for changing the status of a proposal (Open, In progress, Closed) are now also visible when clicking on the proposal over the text. Previously, the text had to be opened in edit mode for this.
