Release SABIO 5.35

Optimization for text elements

Revised user interface

The particular text elements are now organized in tabs. You can click through them on the left side of the content field.
Here you can also find a button which lets you add more text elements.
Existing elements can be deleted by selecting the x-Icon. If a text element still holds content there will be a security query before deleting.
Text elements which are not complete (e.g. if no views were assigned, yet) are marked. This enables you to see where things are left to do right away.
To change the order you can simply switch the tabs’s positions. The numbers will stay the same until saving so that you can retrace the original order until saving.
The text element tabs will follow you when scrolling through the content field. This lets you switch from one to the other easily.

(Right click on "here" & "open link in new tab" in case the link doesn't work)

Multiple texts on one node
It is now possible to attach multiple texts to one node.
Note: We don’t recommend this since this severely hinders the clarity.
However, this opportunity eases the way to using text elements since now a restructuring of the texts is not necessary before activating text elements.

Deactivating text elements
It is now possible to deactivate text elements. This enables you to try this feature temporarily.
Please get in touch with your sales contact for help regarding the activation and the deactivation respectively.
As soon as text elements are deactivated it is no longer possible to create texts with text elements.
That means that the tabs used to create the text elements will no longer be available. Also, selecting a template which contains multiple text elements will lead to an error message telling you that it can no longer be used.
Existing texts and templates respectively with multiple text elements will be kept. When editing those all text elements will be shown in the editing mask. This enables the editors to merge all the separate elements back to one.
Users can still create suggestions for each text element as long as there are texts with multiple elements.

Adaption of the function: File type is being checked during the upload process

Compare Release Notes SABIO 5.33

The examination of the file type is only happening when there are restrictions for uploading files in general. That means that, as long as no file types are excluded by whitelist or blacklist in the settings, there are no examinations as to file extensions. Our support can set this up for you.

The virus scan is not influenced by those settings and will take place anyway.
